1964 Canada 1 Dollar graded PR-66 CAM by PCGS. A superb gem specimen, blast white and fully lustrous with fields that are entirely mirror-like. Far scarcer than their proof-like and circulation counterparts, the specimen dollars (denoted as “Proof” or “PR” by PCGS) from 1964 are somewhat easy to obtain compared to earlier specimen strikes; however, visually appealing examples in higher grades remain difficult to find. This piece qualifies as being such a scarcity as both sides are practically flawless, displaying strong cameo which complements the razor-sharp lettering as a result of being struck twice. Overall, this is an excellent example for those looking to tuck away a high-quality specimen.
