General Information

Orders placed through this website generally cannot be held and/or combined. Should you place two or more orders within a relatively close time frame (i.e., within 24 hours) and contact us before the first order has been shipped, we may be able to provide combined shipping. Items that have been backordered or pre-ordered that arrive to us before a more recent order has been shipped may be eligible for combined shipping; please contact us for more details. Orders placed though this website and orders placed through eBay will not be combined under any circumstances. Orders with "Pre-Order" items will be delayed as we typically do not ship Pre-Order items separately.

Once you have completed paying for an order, an order confirmation email will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. Please check over your order carefully and notify us immediately should you need to change your billing and/or shipping address. Any sales taxes will automatically be added to the order where applicable; should there be any errors or miscalculated values on your order, please contact us immediately so we can work on correcting your order.

All prices are subject to change without notice, and St. George Coins & Collectibles cannot be held responsible for typographical errors including incorrectly priced items. St. George Coins & Collectibles reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order; if you have already paid for an order that is cancelled, you will be credited with the amount that was charged.

The tax rates for Canadian provinces and territories collected on orders are listed below (last updated April 19, 2023):

Taxes will be charged on shipping (unless an order qualifies for free shipping). Items that are Tax Exempt will not be charged Canadian sales tax and will show in your cart before checking out. If sales tax was accidentally applied to a Tax Exempt item, please contact us so that we may assist in correcting your order. While Canadian sales tax is not applied to orders shipped to the United States or any other international addresses outside of Canada, customs, duties, and/or brokerage fees may apply at your destination.

Shipping Costs & Typical Delivery Times

Orders are typically shipped within 2 to 5 business days, although some delays may occur due to holidays (when Canada Post and other delivery services are closed) or other events (such as extreme weather and subsequent road closures). While we cannot guarantee exact arrival times of any order placed through this website, the following list provides estimated delivery times that are typical for orders shipped within Canada given the method of shipping selected:

• Standard Shipping (with tracking) - 14 business days (usually shorter for smaller orders)

• Xpresspost - 4 business days

• UPS - 3 business days

The shipping rates listed above are subject to change without notice. For bulky/oversized orders, additional shipping & handling charges may apply; in this event we will contact you to determine how to proceed with your order(s).

Local pickup is not an option; all orders will be shipped to the address provided at the time of checkout. All orders will only be shipped to the billing address of the order. All Canadian and United States mailing addresses are confirmed through Canada Post before being shipped. In the event that the provided mailing address cannot be confirmed, you will be contacted by email and/or by phone to confirm the correct shipping information.

 

At this time, please contact us to inquire about shipping arrangements for orders to international mailing addresses outside of the United States (or for orders to the United States valued at $2,000 CAD or more).

Return Policy

 

All sales of estate items are final (non-refundable and non-exchangeable), and all sales of bullion products are final. For all other items, if you are not satisfied with your item(s) for any reason, please contact us before shipping the returned item(s) to the mailing address provided below:

Returns will be accepted up to 14 days after receipt of the product for items that are return eligible. Please ensure that the items are packaged carefully and securely upon being returned and use a reliable shipping service with tracking information (e.g., Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, UPS). We do not refund the original costs of shipping and handling, and the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs. In the event that the item you receive was incorrectly labelled, arrived in a damaged state (damaged in such a way that was not described in the product description), or was the incorrect item sent in error, we will refund the original shipping costs and pay for return shipping. In cases where we pay for return shipping, we will either provide you with a return shipping label or ask for you to provide proof of return shipping costs to ensure that the return shipping costs are being accurately refunded.

All items must be returned in their original shipping state along with original invoice and/or packing slip that was included with the order. Returned items that are not in their original shipping state, damaged, or missing the original invoice and/or packing slip will not be accepted or refunded.

​

Rolls of coins that are original (bank-wrapped or mint-wrapped) must be returned unopened. In the unusual event that an original roll contains coins which suggest that the roll was not bank-wrapped or mint-wrapped (a decision made at the discretion of St. George Coins & Collectibles), we will refund the cost of the roll, original shipping and handling charges, and return shipping charges.

Payment Methods

Most orders on this website can be processed through either Visa, Mastercard, or PayPal. Please contact us if you wish to pay by cheque, money order, bank draft, wire transfer, or e-transfer. At our discretion, we may require that an order be paid by bank draft or wire transfer to protect against fraud (for example, if you are a first-time buyer placing an order over $2,000). Personal cheques must be cleared by our bank before an order can be shipped; both cheques and money orders can be sent to our mailing address:
